IN THE BEGINNING

Icon Heading

God has always had a purpose for His creation. That purpose was (and is) that we would rule the earth, while God rules heaven and that we would be with Him for all eternity.  He designed us with an eternal relationship in mind and with the understanding that his kingdom would expand from heaven to earth through us..( 26 Then God said, “Let Us (Father, Son, Holy Spirit) make man in Our image, according to Our likeness [not physical, but a spiritual personality and moral likeness]; and let them have complete authority over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the cattle, and over the entire earth, and over everything that creeps and crawls on the earth,   Genesis 1:26) This was His original plan.

But, through one man’s single act of disobedience [Genesis 3:1-7; Romans 5:19], “SIN” came into the world and caused all of mankind (Past, Present, and Future) to be spiritually separated from Him – Eternally and caused us to lose the rulership of heaven we were born to have.

But all is not lost.

Because God is all knowing, and does not exist in time, He devised a plan to re-establish his kingdom on earth and to have that eternal relationship – before the beginning of time.

God desires an eternal relationship with you!

THE PROBLEM

We are all born with a sinful nature-– Without our connection to God, we are destined to spend eternity in place of eternal, unending fire (Hell) – Spiritual Death. But God never created Hell for us. God desires an eternal relationship with you!

“. . . for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23 NKJV

“As it is written: ‘There is none righteous, no, not one;’ ” Romans 3:10 NKJV

Throughout time every one of us has “missed the mark” with God. It doesn’t matter whether we’ve lived our lives being good to others, or whether we’ve tried to live right before God. We’ve missed it with God because we ceased to be perfect in His sight – When SIN came into the world. Mankind then became controlled by SIN.

Mankind inherited this condition when one man decided to act independently of God’s plan –DISOBEDIENCE.

“Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death [Eternal separation from God] through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned . . .” Romans 5:12 NKJV

“Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin my mother conceive me.” Psalm 51:5 NKJV

KINGDOM PURPOSE

Trust & Believe In Order To Receive

We are saved (rescued, delivered, set free, and protected) from the consequences of our sinful condition when we confess of our sins, and accept (By Faith) that Christ is the only way back to God. However, it takes more than our mental knowledge of God, or knowing the plan of salvation. Information, in and of itself, is absolutely worthless unless you do something with it.  It takes action and and a heartfelt surrender of your life to God.

Repent is an action word.

To Repent is to feel deep regret (to the point of grief) for sinful actions. Most importantly, it is the act of changing one’s heart, mind, and point of view.

Repentance is making a 180-degree turn away from those sinful actions – toward the heart, mind, point of view and ways of God.  It means recognizing those sinful actions, and agreeing with God that they are sin, and making a conscious decision to allow God to help you turn and go in the opposite direction.

If You Believe, Then Receive

Dear God,
I  know that there is nothing that I can do about my sinful condition on my own. I believe that You sent your Son, Jesus Christ, to re-establish my eternal relationship with You. I believe that Jesus died for my sins, and rose from the grave so that I might have Eternal Life. Lord Jesus, I ask You come into my heart, take control of my life and save me from the penalty of sin. By faith I accept You as my Lord and Savior. By faith I am trusting in You, and You alone, to restore my eternal relationship with God.
Right now, I sincerely regret my sins, and with your help, I turn away from my sinful ways and turn toward You. I ask You, God, to forgive me of my sins and I rejoince that I am now forgiven and no longer condemned and I have the benefit of being legally adopted by you as your child. I believe that He that a place has bern purchased for me in Your Kingdom and that kingdom is now, living in me, moving me into my God-given purpose.

Holy Spirit, come into my life, transform my mind and heart, and help me to become all that God desires me to be.  It is in Jesus’ name that I pray, Amen.
